Humanity – A Brief History
The Christian Bible opens with the words “In the Beginning God.” This simple statement encompasses the idea that there was a beginning and that God was the thing that filled up that beginning. In other words – in the beginning there was only God.
While this is accurate it is not as limiting as humans have subsequently made it out to be. You see, what you call God is actually the creative force from which all things emanate including substance, time and thought itself. It is a label given to ALL THAT IS and to give such a vast thing a name seems ludicrous and so simplistic.
Nonetheless, humanity (At last the Christian view of humanity) begins with this idea of a Creator who then breathes into existence all that is.
Our history of humanity and explanation of how all this came to be is somewhat different. This is what we share with you today….
Once upon a time….
No, strike that…. There is no time. To get to the beginning one must erase the concept of beginning and time all together.
Once upon a rock….
No that doesn’t work either for there is no space. To get to the beginning which is timeless one must erase the concept of space and dimension.
Once upon a thought….
Again too limiting. There is no thought, no space, no time.
Once upon an experience…
Getting closer to it but still experience needs solid form to play out and that does not exist where we are going.
Once upon…..
Ah yes… we have hit it. There are no human words to describe the beginning or how humanity was formed or even what it is today. It transcends human experience, thoughts, concepts and reality.
In other words, the history of humanity is anything but human.
It isn’t even pure thought or energy as these are human constructs. It isn’t multiple dimensions because again these are human constructs.
To understand the origin of humanity and its true history one has to forget everything one knows and cease to be anything remotely human at all.
Which seems impossible until one realizes that this is the truth of what being human is.
To be human is to not be human.
Paradoxal.
Yet you could not experience being human unless you were something else.
So let us return to the history of humanity.
We will establish in human language that this so called history is a doughnut.
Here you are this little human as a dot on the surface of the doughnut. You are going in a circle from the inner to the outer part in an endless loop. You are at all times in your past, present and future. You are at all times on the top, middle and bottom of the doughnut depending on how the doughnut itself is oriented.
You are at all times in motion.
Ah now we get to it…. You ARE MOTION. And that is what creates the history of the Universe and humanity. Humanity is MOTION.
It is forever flowing inward and outward along the surface and into the middle and constantly chasing itself. It can go anywhere and be anything but the defining point is that it is MOTION.
So the beginning of humanity as you know it is MOTION.
Second, we look at your path along the doughnut. As motion goes forth it forms patterns along the surface of the doughnut. At first it simply goes round and round from inner to outer and back around to inner in a never ending and singular loop.
And so we bring ORGANIZATION into the motion. It is ordered and that is what creates the solid world around. Because of this organization we can have a solid planet with air to breathe and furniture to sit on and structure.
But wait… suddenly a small variation in the surface of the doughnut sends the dot that is human off on a slightly different trajectory. Ever so slight as to be practically imperceptible but over time this slight variation creates an entirely new trajectory that allows the dot to follow new paths and explore parts of the doughnut it hadn’t been aware of before.
We call this CHAOS. It is the yang to the yin of ORGANIZATION and it creates the variations in life, experience and perception. Without this every human would be exactly the same and every single one would occupy the exact same space at the exact same time having the exact same cheese sandwich for lunch at precisely 12:07 on Tuesday afternoon.
So we have so far the history of humanity as MOTION comprised of ORGANIZATION and CHAOS.
What else?
The surface of the doughnut is somewhat magnetic which keeps the dot that is human within the boundaries of itself. Thus the concept of COHESIVENESS is born.
In order to experience a similar enough reality to share experience and “see” the same world there must be agreed upon points of reference. We call these the land and sky and all the physical aspects humans agree upon. They bind together in one COHESIVE pattern – a blend of ORGANIZATION and CHAOS in perpetual MOTION.
And then there came the WHEN. The WHEN was about making sense and order of the jumble of experience. It brought ORDER to the CHAOS in the form of logical and sub sequential action and the WHEN became our concept of TIME.
This is when the earth and humanity as you know it became possible. Until such time as the WHEN arrived (funny how the concept of time arrived outside of time but is spoken of as a function of time) there was only experience after experience all jumbled together in one hodge-podge of nothingness.
It was as if you could be born before you died and give birth after your child’s wedding and be your own grandparent and all those very paradoxal things the people who love to talk about time travel ponder. In other words… while all these experiences were experienced the lack of linear motion made them disconnected and rather useless in any practical sense of the word.
And it started out in a primordial environment with nothing but gasses and dust. Well by your terms. It was in fact teaming with life. But the concept of TIME was so radical and so foreign to the way things were that it was looked up with great trepidation and therefore existed only as the vaguest of experiments on the very fringe of what was mainstream living.
What if within a vacuum containing this element called “time” we put 2 specs of dust and observed what happened if they had to exist within these conditions.
It was believed that they wouldn’t exist at all. But exist they did and a whole new concept was born… CAUSE and EFFECT.
And this caught on like wildfire!
Rather than having every single experience at your disposal, you could now temporarily limit yourself to a single thread of CAUSE and EFFECT along a certain TIMELINE. What fun! What a sense of adventure to play this out to its conclusion!
It was done again and again and the possibilities became limitless because no matter how many times you played out the same scenario and how much you tried to duplicate it exactly the outcome always changed.
Thus formed the concept of MULTIPLE DIMENSIONS. Same base. Same concept of CAUSE and EFFECT but slightly different results depending on which TIMELINE, or DIMENSION you were in. Every new choice and experience altered the path a minuscule amount so that the adventures were infinite!
What fun!
And then the stakes were raised. What if all this fun could be had in a state of partial amnesia? In other words, what if you could trick yourself somehow into not remembering that you were MOTION in a COHESIVE blend of ORGANIZATION and CHAOS?
How much more fun would it be if you didn’t know until the end that you were conducting an experiment?
And so the concept of the VEIL began and the early ideas of SEPARATION FROM GOD. And this is indeed the beginning of the Universe as you know it today. The very earliest origins of humanity are an agreement with yourself to conduct an amazing experiment with a blindfold on.
And since you had agreed not to remember it was impossible of course to start with a complex and advanced Universe. So you started instead with a single spec. And as the adventure evolved and the choices were made that spec changed form and density and shapes, ideas, thoughts, and emotion emerged until there was solid mass and that solid mass was in MOTION and separated and came together in a cosmic dance of CHAOS and ORGANIZATION until what you call galaxies and planets and stars emerged and the cosmic dance continued as molecules rearranged and cells were formed and eventually life that seemed independent of the thought that was the experiment that was you emerged.
This grand thought continued to expand and CAUSE and EFFECT continued to shape the environment you had created until more complex formations were created and in TIME… eons untold… you arrived at where you are this moment.
Still in the midst of your grand experiment. Still agreeing to forget your true nature. Still MOTION and ORGANIZATION and CHAOS and COHESIVENESS and all wrapped up in the giant laboratory of TIME and SEQUENCE.
And thus we have this history – the true history – of humanity. Which is the history of YOU!
